2. Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Cloudflare"), acting as our processor. When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the requested URL, date and time, browser type and referring page in order to deliver the pages and to protect the service against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and reliable operation of the website). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers are additionally covered by the EU standard contractual clauses in Cloudflare's data processing addendum.

3. Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The access-request form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. To decide whether a request comes from a person, Turnstile processes your IP address and technical characteristics of your browser and device. It may store technically necessary data in your browser for the duration of the check. Turnstile is not used for tracking or advertising. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (preventing abuse of the form).

4. Access-request form

If you request access to the OUTPACE materials, we process the email address you enter (required) and, if you provide them, your name, organisation and message. Together with the submission we store the date and time, your IP address, your country, your browser identification and the page the form was sent from. We use this data to review your request, to contact you and to provide the materials. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps at your request prior to entering into a relationship) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (documenting requests and preventing misuse).

The data is stored in a database operated by Cloudflare (see section 2) and a copy is written to a spreadsheet in our Google Workspace account. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (with Google LLC, USA, as sub-processor; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). We keep request data for as long as it is needed to handle your request and any resulting communication with you, and delete it when it is no longer required unless statutory retention duties apply. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

5. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your message and address to handle your enquiry. Our email is provided by Google Workspace (see section 4). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

6. Cookies, fonts and external links

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own server; no requests are sent to Google Fonts. Links to LinkedIn lead to an external site that is not embedded here; LinkedIn's privacy policy applies once you leave our site.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in our case the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

8. Security and changes

All traffic to this site is encrypted (TLS). We do not use automated decision-making. We will update this policy when the site or our processing changes.
